This is what Patton Oswalt had to say about Death Cab for Cutie:

They remind me of how the outer edge of darkness always kisses the cheek of comedy, and the reason we laugh is because we can still feel the dark.

I am not sure what to be more amazed by, how poetic the comment is, or that it came from Patton Oswalt.
